Cheer Program
Fall/Winter Season 2024-2025
Our non-competitive season runs from September 30th, 2024 to March 30th, 2025 and features: safe, quality instruction, uniform, poms, class and individual photos, and a year end performance at the Riddell Centre Theatre at the University of Regina on Sunday, March 30th, 2025.
All registrations include a Saskatchewan Cheerleading Association membership for the season.
Program runs from September 30th, 2024 to March 20th, 2025.

Current Class Offerings
Jump & Shout Summer Camp
Back by popular demand!
Come join us for a weekend summer camp at the Northwest Leisure Centre to learn some new skills, brush up on existing skills, learn a routine, and work with the Twin Lakes Cheer Coaches! Camp includes a t-shirt and bow decorating. Ages 5-14. Campers will be required to bring a water bottle, nut-free lunch and snacks. Camp runs Saturday, July 27th from 9-2pm and Sunday, July 28th from 1:30-5pm. Join us from 4-5pm on Sunday for a short informal demonstration (spacing will be limited)! Registration closes July 15th!

Spring Session
Our non-competitive spring session runs from April until May and features: safe, quality instruction, and a program t-shirt.
All registrations include a Saskatchewan Cheerleading Association membership for the season.

A Twin Lake Membership / Community Association Membership ($10) is required for registration. Memberships will now be added to family accounts in JackRabbit at the start of each new programming year and can be paid for at the same time as programming. If you have a Community Association membership other than from Twin Lakes, any registrations will not be verified until an email with the Community Association membership has been sent to the Twin Lakes Community.
Class Descriptions
U6 Novice Level 1
Ages 3 to 4, previous experience is not required.
This non-competitive program introduces athletes to the components of cheerleading – motions, jumps, stunting, tumbling and dance. Athletes continue to learn and build skills through proper progressions and learn to work together. Class length is 50 minutes.
U6 Level 1
Ages 5 to 6, previous experience is not required.
This non-competitive program introduces athletes to the components of cheerleading – motions, jumps, stunting, tumbling and dance. Athletes continue to learn and build skills through proper progressions and learn to work together. Class length is 50 minutes.
U6 Pom
Ages 5 to 6, previous experience is not required.
This is a non-competitive, dance-based program that will focus on creating effects with poms through motions, formations, footwork and jumps, then put together with creative and fun choreography. Dances will be a high-energy combination of hip hop, jazz and an element of musical theatre. No stunting or gymnastic skills will be taught in this program. Class length is 50 minutes.
U8 Level 1
Ages 7 to 8, previous experience is not required.
This non-competitive program introduces athletes to the components of cheerleading – motions, jumps, stunting, tumbling and dance. Athletes continue to learn and build skills through proper progressions and learn to work together. Class length is 50 minutes.
U8 Pom
Ages 7 to 8, previous experience is not required.

Adult
Ages 18+, no experience required.
Have you always wanted to try cheer, but never had the opportunity? Have you done cheer in the past and want to try it out again? Either way, this class is for you! Dust off your cheer shoes and join some other adults for one hour of cheer fun per week.

Athletes continue to learn and build skills through proper progressions and learn to work together. This extended length class allows for more instruction and development time. Class length is 60 minutes.
