Our non-competitive Fall/Winter season runs from September until March and features: safe, quality instruction, outfit (including poms for younger classes), class photos, and a year end performance at the Riddell Centre Theatre at the University of Regina. 

Our non-competitive Winter session runs from January until May.  This is a great opportunity to try cheer for the first time or to continue skill development.  There will not be a recital, photos or a costume for this shorter session.  A T-shirt is included in the class fee.

All registrations include a Saskatchewan Cheerleading Association membership for the season.

 

A Twin Lake Membership / Community Association Membership is required for registration.  Memberships will now be added to family accounts in JackRabbit at the start of each new programming year and can be paid for at the same time as programming.  If you have a Community Association membership other than from Twin Lakes, any registrations will not be verified until an email with the Community Association membership has been sent to the Twin Lakes Community.

*** PLEASE NOTE: It is mandatory for 12+ year olds be double-vaccinated OR proof of negative PCR test within the last 72 hours be provided. Masks are mandatory for everyone entering schools or city facilities and will be required during activity for participants.

Current Class Offerings

Tiny Novice Level 1

Age 3 and age 4, previous experience is not required.

This non-competitive program introduces athletes to the components of cheerleading – motions, jumps, stunting, tumbling and dance. Athletes build skills through proper progressions and learn to work together. 

Tiny Level 1

Ages 5 to 6, previous experience is not required.

This non-competitive program introduces athletes to the components of cheerleading – motions, jumps, stunting, tumbling and dance. Athletes build skills through proper progressions and learn to work together. 

Mini Pom

Ages 5 to 8, previous experience is not required.

This non-competitive program introduces athletes to the components of cheerleading – motions, jumps, stunting, tumbling and dance. Athletes continue to learn and build skills through proper progressions and learn to work together. 

Mini Level 1

Ages 7 to 8, previous experience is not required.

This non-competitive program introduces athletes to the components of cheerleading – motions, jumps, stunting, tumbling and dance. Athletes build skills through proper progressions and learn to work together. 

Youth Level 1

Ages 9 to 10, previous experience is not required.

This non-competitive program introduces athletes to the components of cheerleading – motions, jumps, stunts, tumbling and dance. Athletes continue to learn and build skills through proper progressions and learn to work together. This extended length class allows for more instruction and development time. 

Junior Pom

Ages 9 to 14, previous experience is not required.

This is a non-competitive, dance-based program that will focus on creating effects with poms through motions, formations, footwork and jumps, then put together with creative and fun choreography. Dances will be a high-energy combination of hip hop, jazz and an element of musical theatre. No stunting or gymnastic skills will be taught in this program. 

Junior Level 1

Ages 11 to 14, previous experience is not required.

Athletes continue to learn and build skills through proper progressions and learn to work together. This extended length class allows for more instruction and development time.
