IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Tickets will go on sale Friday, March 20th at 9:30am.
  • Tickets will be $10.00 each (plus applicable service fees).
  • Tickets must be purchased online and ahead of time for each session.
  • A maximum of 5 tickets per family per session will be available for purchase initially. Based on the number of participants and the seating capacity of the theatre, we expect seating to be close to full capacity if each family purchases the maximum number of tickets.
  • Tickets are not reserved for each family, so please purchase your tickets before April 8th when we open up the remaining seats for purchase.
  • Each person entering the performance must display proof of ticket purchase either through a printed copy of the ticket or displaying the ticket on a smart device.
  • Children 2 and under may sit on a parent’s lap at no cost. If you wish to allocate a seat for them, the seat price will apply.
  • If you need accessible seating for a wheelchair, there are reserved accessibility seats right on the venue map when purchasing tickets. Please let me know if you have bought accessible seating and need the chair(s) removed to accommodate a wheelchair or scooter.  There is an elevator in the theatre.

Note for Cheer Families
Thanks to your feedback, we’ve adjusted our approach to organizing the sessions. Instead of having classes remain backstage to perform across two sessions, each class will now participate in just one session and perform twice within that session. For families with children in two classes, most have been scheduled in Cheer Session 2 to help reduce the overall time commitment for the day.

Extra Tickets
On Wednesday, April 8th at 9am, we will be opening any unpurchased seats (if any) to anyone who would like them. You can use the same ticket links.  Tickets must be purchased online and ahead of time for each session.  Thank you in advance for your support as we ensure all families have a fair opportunity to view the hard work we’ve put in this year.

Hair, Make-up and Outfit

Please come with your child ready to go for the walkthrough – hair and make-up done according to the guidelines for Photo Day (for cheer click here – Photo Day, for dance please follow your instructor’s guidelines), uniform/costume on and shoes and poms (cheer) with you. Please bring a bag and water bottle labelled with your child’s name and nut-free snacks/food packed. Anything else that you bring, please make sure it is clearly labelled their your child’s name as well.

Day-Of Walkthrough

We will be taking the approach of running walkthrough onstage prior to each program’s session.  Walkthroughs will be closed door, with no spectators entering until the formal door open times. Please give yourself enough time to arrive on-time for your scheduled drop-off time to account for possible traffic/train issues or parking issues (especially if you are new to the U of R campus) to help us stay on schedule.

Drop-off and Pick-up

Thanks for your feedback, we will be using the same approach for drop-off and pick-ups this year.

  • All athletes should be dropped off at the All Participant Drop-off location to be taken back to their designated dressing room.  Each class is scheduled to arrive at a different time to stagger the number of kids arriving at the same time.  Please see the full schedule below for your class’s arrival time.  Please ensure you pack water and nut-free snacks/food with your child.
  • We will have TWO pick-up locations after each session that will be noted on the full schedule – 1. Stage Left Pick-up and 2. Stage Right Pick-up.  Instructors will be present to reunite children and their parents at scheduled intervals for each class.  To reduce congestion, families are encouraged to remain in their seats until their scheduled pickup window to ensure the aisles remain clear for the families who have retrieved their child(ren).
  • No kids will be kept backstage between sessions.

Full Schedule (Updated March 12th)

Wascana Flower Shoppe Partnership

Twin Lakes Cheer and Dance Programs are thrilled to once again partner with the Wascana Flower Shoppe.  The Wascana Flower Shoppe offers flower services for your little performer on-site at the Riddell Theatre for each of our performances.  There are two options again for this year – a pre-order & pickup service (we always get great feedback on this) and an on-site popup booth to purchase flowers from.

Please note that ordering/purchasing flowers is a tradition but completely optional.

Volunteers

Your children have worked hard all year learning new skills, which they are eager to share with friends and family. We can only make this day successful with the help of volunteers.   We are requesting volunteers for various tasks – class chaperones (two per class) for each session, backstage gophers, and ushers.  Class chaperones will get a front row seat in the audience to watch their chaperone class perform.

Riddell Centre Parking

There are multiple places to park around the campus free of charge on Sundays. Please consult the map below for highlighted parking areas.

For more detailed U of R parking information, visit their website – https://www.uregina.ca/parking/assets/maps/main_parking_maps/main-campus-map-2025.pdf.
